These two will be there, along with some other old highschool/juniorhigh/elementary/preschool friends. I can't even wait. With these kids, it's always a good time. That's just how lifelong friendships are.
The first time in a long time. Tested out my sweet new orthotics. And, it was a lot less pretty than the aftermath of this run, which is surprising, since I don't think I've actually RAN since that run. Usually it's a lot uglier getting back into things.
Kristin was telling me of her excellent plan to make a vegan cake shaped like a slab of steak for her recently-turned-vegan twin sister. This conversation sparked me to remember the hamburger cake we made for my dad's birthday one year. As well as the Not Very Pretty picture featuring it:
As mentioned, Young William is in town for a bit, and I visited him this weekend. Much time was spent laughing, eating, and hyphy dancing in the car. As usual, the visit had to end with The Father lining us up for a photo shoot. And, also as usual, my brother and I put every effort into the performance:
