Happy Birthday Kristin K!

More than a month ago now, Kristin sent me this. And so I honor it here, today, her birthday. The last one is too cute to crop out, despite the theme of this blog. Sometimes super-cute is a good pair for Not Very Pretty. Especially on birthdays :)

She writes:
"The funniest thing happened after work today...
I was bored and felt an urge to try out funny faces in the mirror.
I found a new one! It made me laugh.
Then my shower turned into a photobooth and captured the whole thing.
This is what popped out right on the soap dish after a few seconds."

This is a pretty accurate facial expression for my mental state of the moment.
If I could do animation, I would show you how my arms would express my mental state--lots of flailing about above the head. I would probably be spinning around in circles, too. Luckily the work day is almost over, and Kristin's and my run should get some of the crazy out of me.

This is how my eyes feel right this very minute

Captured by the not Not Pretty Maria. [Ok except for one time. That post will come later!] ;) Her, Devora, and I were at dinner and Steve was getting scandalous in Maria's boobies and I was wearing a monsterous sweater that is the comfiest thing ever and was all I wanted to be wearing right then and Devora was wearing her FABULOUS HAT. Although later that night I put on some red shorts and grey suspenders and looked remarkably like old school Mickey Mouse with my long, spindly, black-encased limbs. And some days are just link days where you have to link to the ENTIRE WORLD, but mainly that of your friends.
